Having Your Music Mixed and Mastered

In this era of music a lot of people wonder should their music be professionally mixed and mastered? Well my take on this question is yes. Listen to the radio and you can hear the quality of music they play, this is why I say yes the music should be professionally mixed and mastered. If you take your music to a music label they are going to want to hear music like it was produced, mixed and mastered in a million dollar studio. During my time at Full Sail University I have learned a great deal about mixing and mastering. One thing is it takes a great deal of time to really give your song what it needs to standout like what you hear on the radio. Also it takes someone with experience who knows what they are doing. What the mix does for your music is give it life and character. It's what makes it standout from the rest. When mastering comes into play this is in a sense what makes it louder. So now, if you are wondering if it matters it does.

Duan Barrino | Instrumentals

Hello All,

I put my life into my music and you should too. I remember when I first started out on my journey it was very rough. No one knows your grind better than you do. So build your brand and stick to it. I will be graduating from school in Feb. 2015 and I am amped up about what's getting ready to take place. Actually I am already happy about what has already taken place. Here is a little proof at what hard work and determination about your craft can bring you.

IS FULL SAIL REALLY WORTH IT?

This question has come up many times I'm sure. Let me tell you a quick story. Two years ago I was at a dead end road at what I wanted to be in life. I have been through so many obstacles in life where things were on the up and down. Track and Field was once a passion thirteen years ago. I excelled at it and I am glad I had the chance to travel and meet great people. Moving forward from there I went on to become a licensed barber. Becoming a barber taught me a valuable lesson. Putting my all into something can change my life. Which brings me to this very moment. Here I sit more than half way through the Music Production Bachelor of Science Online Program with a GPA of 3.67. I have never had these kinds of grades in my life time. Music was the answer to my questions all of this time. So if you have it in you, breathe it sleep it go for it. It's not about the school all the time. Most times its you holding back a star. Now lets move on shall we.

It's a very fun school to me because I do not see any other school out there who will cover all the industry standards like Full Sail. Just have a clue at what you want out of it and go for it. The program I'm in branches out in every music genre possible. It's taught me how to use a Mac system. Industry standard programs at my fingertips. What more could I want...... MY DEGREE! February 2015 is around the corner and there is a lot of good careers opportunities in front of me. Thanks for reading a little about "IS FULL SAIL REALLY WORTH IT?"

Giving Beats Away

Hello,
This post is going to be very different than others. Many producers online are starting to have a different look on music. No one really is doing the same thing anymore. If they have any beats for sale they are mainly just sitting on the back burner. If they are giving away beats those are the gold. A lot of people are in a debt crisis right now. Music is a way of escaping some people’s problems. So giving a beat away really never could hurt. Sure you want to keep a business mindset but be eager to give. Giving goes a long way in the site of God!

I am not a "BEATMAKER"

What a morning it has been. I get up to take care of my kids for a bit and then get to work on my craft and that’s music. When I started on the path of music I never knew it would come to a point of a career. Trust me it is no easy task finding your place in music. It takes time and effort to be great at it. A lot of my friends think that I am just out here trying to sell a beat. Even a lot of people period may think the same that don’t even know me. I am not looking to sell beats I am looking for a hit record. I know there are a lot of producers on twitter and facebook saying “BEATS FOR SALE”. The thing is none of them really know how to sell beats better yet even know how to make beats. Now that I am in school I took the saying of being a beat maker out of my vocab. I am a Music Producer/Composer. That is the respect I will give myself from now on. If you are looking for a great Music Producer that knows how to compose and score out music of all genres go check out http://www.duanbarrino.com.

Underground Music Artist Need Industry Level Music Producers

There are a lot of facts that do not get told to an up and coming artist. So many of them think they can put together any old thing and be able to place themselves amongst thousands and millions doing the same thing that their doing. The key thing that they fail to realize is that they need something original. First off you need a reliable producer. Not many people can go out and buy a beat from Mike Will or Timbaland. It can be hard to find beats for sale in your area and calling up a producer to go meet with miles away from home. Now there is a way new artist can have that winning sound. Internet Beats Sites. There are a lot of sites that have beats for sale but none have made sparks fly like this. Look up Duan Barrino Music. He is a young talented producer/composer getting ready to graduate from Full Sail University with a Music Production Degree. Look him up.
